Roy "Buckshot" Jones (born July 23, 1970 in Monticello, Georgia), is a previous auto racing driver who has competed within NASCAR and sprint cars.

Jones earned a nickname "Buckshot" from his grandfather when he ran into the table & showed there is no signs of hurt or even agony. His racing career began as a hobby in a period of his studies at the University of Georgia. Jones originally wanted to race motocross, but his daddy suggested stock cars since they were safer.

Fallowing his sixth race Jones went intent on dinner by having his father, in which he told him that he wanted to exist as the NASCAR champion. He & his father so developed a 5-season project that would allow Jones to move higher the ladder & start to fulfill his dream.

Around 1995, Jones moved to the NASCAR Busch Series with his own team known as Buckshot Racing. Fallowing the unsatisfying greenhorn campaign, Jones hired Ricky Pearson, son of the legendary David Pearson, as his crew chief. Jones won 2 races on top a next tercet years.
